EPD report on the products of ProFound Drill Solutions
Sustainability plays a central role in our society. To this end, Profound Drill Solutions considers it crucial to integrate sustainability into every aspect of our operations. Focusing on our environmental and CO2 footprint is an important part of this.
Therefore, in collaboration with the company South Pole, we commissioned a comprehensive life cycle analysis of the products that are produced by ProFound Drill Solutions. Consequently, we can now proudly present to you the resulting EPD report (Environmental Product Declarations), which features information on the environmental impact of our products at every stage of the product life cycle, from production, through construction and end of life, to potential for reuse, recovery or recycling.
This EPD report enables us to provide you with more clarity regarding the environmental performance of our products, which makes it possible to easily and unambiguously compare our materials with those of other solutions on the market. The report clearly shows that our products are designed with the environment in mind. CO2 consumed in the production of one kilogram of cast iron is significantly lower than in the production of one kilogram of steel (whether welded or cast).
